Update 03-04-08: We are trying to fly in a team of 4 persons from Malaysia. Please donate generously. Assalamu alaikum,

Berdasarkan perbincangan dengan pengamal perubatan Islam dan beberapa petunjuk Ilahi, kami yakin Sufiah sekarang dibawah pengaruh sihir. Oleh itu satu delegasi dari Malaysia yang di ketuai oleh Ustaz Trimizi Zainal akan bertolak dari Malaysia pada 19hb April ini khusus untuk merawat Sufiah menggunakan kaedah perubatan Islam. Ustaz Trimizi Insya'Allah akan berada di UK selama 1 bulan dan Insya'Allah beliau akan merawat Sufiah sepanjang tempuh tersebut.

11-03-2008: Misi Khidmat Sosial dan Wacana Islam Hadhari

Melayu UK, Jabatan Penuntut Malaysia UK and Eire dan Jabatan Penuntut Malaysia Jordan akan menganjurkan Wacana Islam Hadhari dari 2 Julai hingga 6 Julai 2008.

Selepas itu, empat orang delegasi sukarelawan dari Jordan akan memberikan khidmat sosial kepada ahli-ahli Melayu UK dari 7 Julai hingga 16 Ogos 2008. Program khidmat sosial ini adalah lanjutan dari keberkesanan program khidmat sosial yang diadakan pada tahun lepas. Pada tahun 2007, Ustaz Trimizi bersama Ustaz Faidhi, 2 orang hafiz lepasan Darul Quran JAKIM telah memberikan khidmat sosial kepada ahli-ahli Melayu UK selama sebulan dari 11 Februari hingga 11 Mac 2007.

18-02-2008: Seminar Legasi Tun Abdul Razak (Dublin)

Malaysian students in Dublin, Ireland grabbed the opportunity to improve their personal development by attending the Seminar Legasi Tun Abdul Razak on Sunday 17th February 2008. The one day seminar organised by Kelab UMNO Dublin in collaboration with Melayu UK Student Support Team (MUSST) aimed to encourage Malaysian student to participate in intellectual discourse as one of the means to enhance their leadership skills.

04-02-2008: MUSST Weekend @ Oxford Workshop

Melayu UK Student Support Team (MUSST) successfully organised its Weekend @ Oxford Workshop from 2nd to 3rd February 2008. The 2-day event conducted by Dr Sariah Barnes on enhancing personal and leadership skills were very well received by the participants. Even the Bicester Village Designer Outlet management were excited when they knew that the future leaders of Malaysia were in Bicester. To express their excitement, all participants were given VIP cards which entitle them to a 10% discount on purchases at the outlet.

05-01-2008: Melayu UK officially launches Melayu UK Students Support Team (MUSST)

On 5th January 2008, Melayu UK enters a new era by officially launching the Students Support Team.

Suhaib Shafii, President and Founder of Melayu UK Students Support Team (MUSST) said, “Melayu UK is a proactive organisation that takes its responsibility to Malaysia seriously. MUSST primarily aims to bridge the gap between the British community and the Malay students [from Malaysia] so that Malay students can benefit more from their stay in Britain. The British network is rich in transferable skills that Malay students can grasp, develop and bring back to Malaysia hence adding value towards their contribution to Malaysian development.”

MUSST is a platform tailored to support the personal growth of Malay students. It also acts as a hub to exchange information, advice and personal experiences amongst Malay students.
