Ahli Jawatan Kuasa Melayu UK and Melayu UK Youth mengucapkan selamat menyambut bulan Ramadhan kepada semua ahli. Semoga bulan yang mulia ini dipenuhi dengan pelbagai ibadah dan kunjung-mengunjung untuk merapatkan lagi tali persaudaraan sesama kita.

It is important for the Malays in the UK to contribute to society. Other ethnic minorities such as the Pakistani and Bangladeshi communities have visible contribution e.g. the building of mosques, providing halal food outlets etc. The Malay community is comparatively a very small community and will remain small for the foreseeable future. The Malays cannot have the same impact as the Pakistanis or Bangladeshi by opening mosques or halal food outlets simply because of our small number. If the Malays excel in leadership, then our presence will be noticed and appreciated.

In line with our new drive for Melayu UK presence all over the UK, we have now established regional representatives whom you can contact to organise local/regional activities.

The Malaysian Students' Liaison has been established to ensure that the Malaysian students coming to the UK have an easily accessible contact point into the UK network.

Alhamdulillah the Perhimpunan Keluarga 2007, held from 3rd to 5th August 2007, has been a great success. Members not only insisted that the Perhimpunan Keluarga should continue every year, but also requested another annual national event mainly for the youth.
