On-Line Zakat Payment Facilities

This service provides a convenient way of fullfilling one of the pillars of Islam. Over the past years we have noticed that more and more members are using our service. Because of the importance of zakat, this service is open to all Muslims regardless of whether they are Melayu UK members or not.

Perhimpunan Keluarga (Family Gathering)

The importance of family life is ingrained within the Malay culture. Our annual Perhimpunan Keluarga creates a platform where we can meet each other, get to know each other better and learn from each other. Activities range from archery, abseiling, air-rifle shooting and even comes complete with a BBQ!

Eid Parties

Eid ul-Fitr (a celebration to mark the end of the fasting month, Ramadan) and Eid ul-Adha are joyous times for Muslims. Melayu UK organises 'open houses' and Eid parties across the country.

Melayu UK Youth

Careers Advisory Services

Having a clear vision on where we want to go in our careers will increase our focus in life and help us to contribute positively in society. Melayu UK offers free careers advice to our young members. This advice is based upon consultancy from Black & Ethnic Minorities Careers Advisers and Muslim-Specific Careers Advisers.

Student Liaison Team

Coming to the UK for the first time can be a testing experience for Malaysian students. Our student liaison team aims to ensure that Malaysian students have an easily accessible point of reference where they can come to should they require advice, a shoulder to lean on, or simply want to make the most of their stay in the UK by joining the Melayu UK network.
